Mountains of Hope (MOH) is a statewide coalition comprised of members representing a variety of organizations, backgrounds, and lived experiences who come together to achieve the goal of reducing the burden of cancer in West Virginia. 

 

The Coalition offers a space in which members can build partnerships nationally, statewide, and locally. We work collaboratively to implement evidence-based strategies and policy, system, and environmental changes around cancer prevention, early detection, and quality of life using the WV Cancer Plan to guide and measure our efforts. 

 

We seek to touch the lives of all West Virginians across the Mountain State, and we would love to have you join us in our efforts.

From Our Immediate Past Chair

Being a part of MOH has connected me with professionals around the state that I otherwise would not have met. I have become a better leader because of service to the Coalition. I began as a subcommittee chair for several years and now serve as Immediate Past Chair of the Coalition. I highly recommend membership to anyone working in the cancer field or that serves cancer patients in any capacity.
